Does anyone know if getting a tattoo has any negative effect on a
person that has diabetes ?

I emailed the thread link to a number of dpeartments and people in the
ADA and plan on doing some more digging to try and reach others.  Here
is one response I got so far from the people who put together the

Well, just got back from the laser. It was not a bad experience at
all. Actually, far less unpleasant than the flourecine angiogram.

I've just been told by my doctor that after a fasting blood test my
blood glucose level is 7.9, which, apparantly is higher than the
acceptable level and means that I'm classified as a type 2 diabetic.
However, he wants to do another blood test to confrim it (which will be

Does anyone know what the BG level needs to be before you start to drink/urinate
