Has anybody else noticed a sharp weight loss when they started to use a pump? I've had mine for 6 months now. I had been 84kg for some years, which I was quite happy with (I'm 1m95, or 6'4"). Since starting the pump my weight has dropped to 77kg, I feel distinctly

Okay - Slightly OT but what do regulars on here think ? I know of a work colleague who is 35 years old, a type II diabetic, & has been diagnosed with gout. This person has had a couple of attacks (of gout) in the last 6 months - but they usually clear up.

Blood sugar levels at their highest are about 230. lowest about 90. im on amaryl, one mg daily.
