Metformin01 Dec 2005 17:05 GMT27
I have been reading about Metformin and am very concerned for the health of
my kidneys and the conflicts with two of my blood pressure meds.
I started Metformin 3 weeks ago taking 1- 500mg tablet in the late
afternoon.  3 days ago I started adding a second tablet in the morning per
Metformin or concrete?01 Dec 2005 16:34 GMT7
Last night I was going over my stash of meds, I found a bottle of metformin
that was way past its discard date. I poured the pills, 250 of them, in the
toilet. They remained stuck together in bottom of the toilet, even after
several flashings.

ADA Magazine/membership01 Dec 2005 04:22 GMT4
Soon after my diagnosis, I had a membership in the ADA for about 2 years.  I
cancelled it because I wasn't getting much out of the magazine and
membership.  Last month I received a copy of the magazine and figured they
were sending me a free copy to try to lure me back.  This month ...
Diabetes insipidus01 Dec 2005 03:45 GMT10
A couple in the UK who were found guilty of murdering their young
child a few years ago by forcing him to eat several spoonfuls of salt
as a punishment, which they have always denied AIUI, are having their
case reviewed. It seems that there is now a suggestion that the child

Spike = Pain01 Dec 2005 00:50 GMT1
Type II with fair control, last A1c 5.5%.
I have noticed in the last few weeks that whenever I spike above 7.6 I
get a sharp pain in my mid-section (liverish area). The pain only
appears when I go above 7.6 and gets worse as the number gets higher.
