I was diagnised with type 2 diabetes 4 weeks ago and it is doing
my head in and both my wife and I are struggling to come to terms
with it..  Apart from not eating sugar or fatty foods,  any advise of
what to avoid when reading food labels would be apreciated.

Sleep Deprivation contributes to Diabetes17 Dec 2005 17:31 GMT13

When I was assigned a diabetic nurse in 1996 she said that she had
never before seen diabetes develop so quickly in a person.

Uncontrolled b/g levels - bad teeth as a cause?17 Dec 2005 04:46 GMT32
I am an insulin dependent Type 2 diabetic. Until a few months ago, I was
controlling my blood glucose levels fine with insulin.
Lately, my b/g levels are hovering up around 450. I can't seem to get it

Hi Danny,
Thanks for the tip on MS AntiSpy. I found the settings and preferences
and removed myself from the Anti-Spyware community. I seem to be getting
fewer annoying messages from  the software.

I did a bit of looking and came up with this. Spaghetti Squash With Garlic
And Oil
It won't bust your budget or your diet and is pretty easy to do.

Time to de-lurk again.
Took the boy for his 3 monthly at the hospital the other day. HbA1C
was down to 6.9 which got him  basically a standing ovation. Well we
are happy that its lower, but I was surprised that his was the best.

We get invited to a number of business "Holiday Events" where it's

One day down............16 Dec 2005 17:52 GMT11
????? to go?????
I've been away partially due to computer down time, and partially due to health down time.
One of the things that has "gone wrong" this past year has been the development/finding of some
brain atrophy.  There is no "repair" possibility to my knowledge at this time. ...
