I have IDDM and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to keep my
insulin warm but not too warm to prevent it from freezing while trekking in
the Tibetan Himalaya. The temperature range is around -15 to 5 degrees C.

One of my projects today was makes several batches of classic English
shortbread.
While I had to taste a bit for quality control I couldn't eat very much of
it.

Times-www.nytimes.com there are 3 recipes for wheatless cakes.  Not
low carb, but interesting for the holidays.  Thee is a chiffon cake, a
spice coffee cake and a ginger cake.

After wrestling with my bg control for several month I experienced something
I was not expecting. Usually I have a turkey and cheese sand. w/ low carb
bread, some carrots and maybe some chips for lunch. My numbers are usually
1h - 185, 2h - 170. or something similar.
