Did cinnamon lower my cholesterol?07 Nov 2005 19:24 GMT9
Seven months ago my cholesterol tests were good with a total of 165. My
last test 6 weeks ago was higher at 193.  Thinking back over things, I
realized that  I had stopped taking cinnamon daily. I resumed my
cinnamon capsules 30 days ago, about 1/2 tsp. daily, and my total

Ugh, hives07 Nov 2005 15:52 GMT4
I do in fact have a patch of hives directly under the stickums that
were keeping the sensor head and a few inches of the data cable stuck

covered the offending itchiness with Benedryl lotion.

To people who can not afford their deductibles or have to pay cash06 Nov 2005 23:08 GMT5
Being a Type II diabetic I recently decided to come out of retirement.
We started a pharmacy that specializes in diabetic testing supplies targeted
to people that have private insurance or have to pay cash.
I felt at this time in my life, that it was time to give something back.
Anyone try the low carb pasta at "Old Spaghetti Factory"?06 Nov 2005 22:04 GMT9
I recently tried the low carb spaghetti at a restaurant called the
"Old Spaghetti Factory". IIRC, they have restaurants in several other
states, so someone here might know of them ...
It was pretty bad :(
Hate the FBG06 Nov 2005 15:15 GMT10
I have problems with my FBG, I simply can´t seem to find a way to get a
stabil and good FBG.
Even after 11½ year with T1 I haven´t been able to find out how to get a
good FBG..
second dreamfield's experiment06 Nov 2005 15:07 GMT6
A few weeks ago, I ran a controlled dreamfields spaghetti experiment,
and discovered a PP BG difference of 50 mg/dL at 1 hr.
Some of you mentioned that some people get spikes "way out" from
dreamfields.
