blood test levels increase.30 Nov 2005 23:17 GMT11
I took a blood test in June and another in October. A few of the result
levels have increased. Serum Potassium is now just above advised limits.
I am presuming it is due to 1000 Metformin which I started in September.
Does anyone know if this is normal?  If not..I expect my doctor ...

I just had about fifteen teeth removed. blood pressure raise and was a
question as to anathesia(?) to finish so Doc sheduled for tomorrow.
My Question: Can this be the reason my blood sugar is at 236 , 80 or 90
points Higher than it should be. Am taking Antibiotics and a pain pill ...

With the caveat that I said the very same thng about the endo I fired,
I think I'll be keeping this one.  It was a positive visit, and the
gal certainly seems to think her job is to give me guidance and not to
dictate my treatment.  Yay for doctors who work WITH the patient!!

Sorry for not posting for a little bit.  Am back on track in the way of my

My back is still a bit sore from the fall. The doctor won't give me any more
happy pills, because at 8 times more powerful than morphine, they are very
very addictive. Of course, i am not addicted.! I just want my happy pills!
Please, nice lady doctor, give me some more happy ...

A friend of mine who is plagued by osteoarthritis in his back like I
am told me he took Glucosomene/Chondroiten for six months. He said it

I have been using metaformin for 5 yrs now and recently my blood sugar
has been staying higher.  My doctor has been after me to lose weight
but as we all know it is easier said than done. He asked me how I felt
about insulin and I was negative, wanting to avoid daily injections.  I
