How critical is this date? I just found several bottles with an expiration date last month (Sep05). Are these usable? Was thinking I could use them every other day and if measurements are out of 'expectation', I could measure again with an unexpired strip.

I am due for my 6-monthly check later on this month and need some advice. I was diagnosed with T2 about two years ago but have had 'good' numbers since then. Incidentally, the HbA1c numbers for my diagnosis tests were 10 point something.
