One of the local TV stations ran a bit about a device for

on a patient.

It is well understood that a diabetic patient with kidney failure can

The orthopedist, tendonitis and steroids14 Oct 2005 23:58 GMT23
So.  The orthopedist has no opinion as to whether diabetes is
causative in tendonitis.  Comments here will encourage me to take more
breaks from knitting and other repetitive tasks in future, however.
My orthopedist also had no opinion about steroids and diabetes, or
C-peptide numbers14 Oct 2005 22:12 GMT15
I'm having a little difficult sussing the meaning of C-peptide
numbers.  I understand that the "acceptable range" for each lab will
be different.  What I don't get is whether an elevated C-peptide is
diagnostic of excessive insulin in the system (ie, overproduction) or

Nutritional Supplements  and Diabetes14 Oct 2005 18:04 GMT31
I have been reading that some nutritional supplements such as Bitter Melon,
Chromium, Zinc, and so on are good for bringing down glucose numbers.  I am
thinking of trying Bitter Melon. Has any one else had success with
supplements? I am open to suggestions and advice. Thank you.

injections a day, before meals, and it is claimed to lower the amount of
insulin I need, reduce the maximum blood sugar levels I reach, and MAY HELP
ME LOOSE WEIGHT.

Yolande, are you the same person as the one on the Hansard site who
mentioned doing the OU Living with Diabetes course? If so, what do you
reckon to it?

Syringes - U Want Em14 Oct 2005 07:58 GMT3
I have 2 boxes of BD 3/10 cc 28 gage U100 Syringes that I don't need.

I don't like 28 gage since the needle is the size of a railroad spike
and I bruise easily.  I just bought a 10 pack of 31 gage from walmart.
