Cholest Off?30 Sep 2005 23:37 GMT7
Infrequent poster here with a question for you.  I have a problem with
high triglyceride levels (I'm T2).  Over the last few months I have
been ill and this has played havoc with my bg control.  My A1c held
steady at 6.5 despite the illness, but my trig levels doubled and my
BG roller coaster30 Sep 2005 15:48 GMT59
I'm trying to understand the following because it seems to create a roller

please.  I saw it a week or so ago, and read part of it (it's very long) and
thought I had saved it, but can't find it again.   Also how low is too low
for BG.   I am depending on diet and Starlix and I ...

Effects of Bumetanide or BenicarHCT on BG level30 Sep 2005 12:50 GMT2
It's been a while since I've posted to a Diabetes NG, but I found myself
experiencing a sudden jump in my BG levels and the only think that has
changed lately was the prescriptions for a diuretic (sp) and a blood
pressure med. Both medications worked fine for what I'm taking them ...

Nightmares29 Sep 2005 19:59 GMT4
I think it unlikely but does anyone suffer from horrendous nightmares
due to Diabetes (II)?
I think it's more likely a side effect of Venlafaxine but I thought
I'd ask.
Evening Highs29 Sep 2005 19:53 GMT44
Hello group,
My father has had Type-2 for approximately 8 years. For most of that
period, it was controlled by diet. After being prescribed Prednisolone
( steroid ) for another condition, he took Metformin 500mg twice daily

Aches and pains29 Sep 2005 17:32 GMT5
It's probably just from years of popping joints and all of the recent
exercise (yeah, right), but since starting Metformin my general aches
and pains are a bit more intense.
I didn't see anything about this in the literature that came with the
Bored with food (Supermarket Woes)29 Sep 2005 13:37 GMT9
I've been getting a bit bored with my new and more varied diet, I was
told that this would happen and it most certainly did. I'm getting some
pretty bad cravings for carbs recently that I'm occasionally giving into
- the results aren't great but they're not good either. The ...
