OK, just wanted to say thanks to this group. I lurk a lot and have learned
most of what I know about diabetes from this ng. Although not diagnosed as
diabetic (IGT) I have done the testing and made the dietry changes as tho I
had been. I suspect one day I will be!

I've just been diagnosed with diabetes. I have to take Metformin and Altace.
Two hours after taking the Altace this morning, my T worsened big time. Tried to go to bed
tonight and woke up 30 minutes later, my T was/is very bad.  Started panicking, hot
flashes, seeing no end,....... ...

I recently developed a large infected abscess on my back, and it
wasn't healing as fast as expected so the Doc suggested a blood  test.
It came back at 635! That resulted in a stay in hospital plus of

normaly my BG does not fall below 105 -110 unless I've just finished working
out. However when it does fall below 105 I get SOOOOOO hungry that I break
out in sweats and my stomach hurts.  Today I was putting together a jogging

Walgreens (A US drugstore chain) had a special offer of 50 meter

normal co-pay).  I called the number (anything to save a buck), and

2005.08.01  I think it would be helpful for diabetics to have conscientious
reviews of mainstream scientific evidence for the value and safety of
stevia, for decades a major sweetener in Japan.
