Hello, I was just diagnosed with Diabetes the other day. Although I
suspected I already had it. As my wife has been telling me I can't tell the
difference between hunger and tired. Sometimes I get so weak and tired I can
hardly stand up, then I eat something and within 5 minutes ...

If you are newly diagnosed then test for a REASON.
I initially tested for my educator, then my doctor and now I test for
myself.

Type II in January 2002.  Since then I have been on Glucophage (started at
500mg/day, now up to 2000mg/day) and recently Amaryl 2mg was added to my

Just to share....
I went shopping yesterday and noticed that the Shop-Rite had some huge
lobsters.   I had the guy steam a 3 pounder, and when I got it home I picked
it over thoroughly, reserving all the meat.

He just called.  He can't get out of bed the pain is so bad.  He's indigent
and cannot get the medicos to do anything.  All I could do is tell him to
get to the ER and start kicking up a stink.  He doen't know if he'll even be
able to get out of his room.  I can be here to help ...
