I have just bought a softclix lancet (they normally come with Accu-chek glucose metres). The lancet that came with my metre was painfull and I needed to use it three or four times on average before I could get enough blood. It is amazing the difference. My old lancet

My son went to his first doctors appointment since he came back home, and they informed us that we were approved for the medical coverage! He will be covered 100% until he turns 21. I am sooo thankful for this. I didn't know what we were going to do if we couldn't get help ...

I'm really depressed. Only first week of testing and I find it difficult seeing those seesaw BG's. I radically changed my eating habits, eating low carbs, I take walks every day. Sometimes I get a BG of 7.5, I'm really happy then the day after 9.4, down again, up again. Sheesh.
