I'm younger than my wife, who will be 65 next year. She hasn't worked much throughout her life, having been busy raising children. However, I have worked enough to know I'm vested in all the Federal programs like Social Security and Medicare.

I was just wondering about something that maybe someone can shed some light on. I have been diagnosed as a Type II diabetic when my most recent A1C came back with a 7.3. My one prior to that was a 6.8 and prior to that was a 5.8.

I went to my first class today. Much was a repeat of what this newsgroup has been telling me. Many of the folks in the room had not even tested their blood before which really surprised me. I felt very good that mine was 121, when many of the numbers I saw were closer to 200.
