Been on insulin for 10 weeks,  Novomix 30, (22 in morning 14 at night now),
and lost 2 pounds in total until last week.   Now I  am having a steady
increase, looks like 4 pounds this week, I weigh every Tuesday morning on
the same scales.  It started when I went to Chelsea flower ...

And it appears that if you post in this newsgroup, there is a high
chance you have diabetes.

I was hospitalized a few days ago and the hospital gave me NPH insulin rather
than the 70/30 I take at home. I didn't suffer any adverse effects but I am
curious as to the differences in the two types.

Today Vons finally had Heinz 1-carb catsup on the shelf. I have been looking
for it for a long time.
I already had some "Carb Options" low-carb catsup, so I decided to have a
taste-off. Both my GF and I liked the Heinz much better. We thought the

Now I see why "yahoo groups" became so popular.  The newsgroup trolls attack
people who are sick and need support in this newsgroup and similar ones.

This is my first Spring/Summer as a diabetic. Today I noticed that my
numbers are running about 10-15 points higher than what I am use to.
I haven`t eaten anything different, I feel fine and it isn`t PMS

The life of a diabetic is filled with an inherent sense of horror!
Eventually, they will die from this terrible affliction and it will not
be painless.
Try to prevent yourself from getting this.

It is so sad, but a diabetic is inevitably doomed to a slow, painful
death. It is best to take precautions in life to prevent this. Stay
healthy. You have the power.
