I was diagnosed with type 2 in Jun 03.
Did a Hba1C in Sept - 6.9.
Did another recently last week - 5.4.
I am not on meds but on diet only.

I am feeling smug.  Today is the first day, since using a meter, that I
have not hit ten in my readings.  Fbg:  7.3.  Just did last reading
before going to bed:  7.5.  Lunch 2hpp was 9.8, others were 5s, 7s, and
one 8.  I know it's still not good enough, but at least I didn't go ...

Can anyone give me a nutshell explanation of why type 2 diabetics are more
prone to weight issues?  I am type 1 and have little experience with type 2.

Hello to you all i am new in here and have been reading all the posts well i
have got a 12 yr old diabetic on insulin she is on 4 injections (shots) aday
3 injections of humalog and 1 injection of lantus at bed time she is now on
highs since she was put  on this can any one help me ...
