| Light hearted but on topic:) | 10 Jan 2004 02:48 GMT | 6 |
I shaved my head again last week, and i've noticed that my sugars are dropping a little faster over night and during the day too. All i can assume is that because i'm losing heat out of my head that i'm burning energy faster and that's lowering my sugars. Anyone care to comment:)

| Re: The Lab Normal Club (WAS: Re: What is your A1C Lab Range?) | 10 Jan 2004 00:02 GMT | 4 |
Better still would be for some versed in statistical method to "normilize" the various ranges such that an equivalent could be found for any range. A table could be done and depending on one's starting range the "normalized" number for a 5 or 6 found that would be most like the ...

| Soya Milk | 09 Jan 2004 23:15 GMT | 4 |
I noticed it in passing in the supermarket this very morning, but I never thought to look at the nutrition label. Since I am bone idle, I don`t want to go there again, just to find out, so I thought someone here might know, and of course there is the extra advantage

I've learned an awful lot since I subscribed to this newsgroup, and it's been very reassuring to a newbie to the beast. On 9 Jan, I go off to get blood drawn for an HbA1c and U&E blood test, then go to my practice's diabetes clinic on 16 Jan. I have a list of questions for

| Re: Meds and pp bg testing | 09 Jan 2004 21:18 GMT | 1 |

| On the BG rollercoaster today! | 09 Jan 2004 20:26 GMT | 68 |
I don't know what in the heck is going on today, but it's not fun. Yesterday started out quite normal. Tested at 143 after lunch. This is a bit high for me, but I did eat a new kind of corn chip for my lunch and I simply chalked it up to eating one too many. I ate only 6 of them, ...
