Or is anyone from Canada here at all? There are alot of differences in the world of diabetes between the US and Canada....I take Humalog Insulin, anyone else? Just new to this group, just came across it. T1 for 24 yrs, suffering from Diabetic Retinopathy

I'm newly diagnosed with T2 and need to purchase a BG meter. I would appreciate any recommendations on which device I should buy. I am interested in the kind that allows one to test on forearms instead of finger tips, assuming that type is sufficiently accurate.
