Guess I Need the Sulfs...24 Oct 2003 20:28 GMT4
Three weeks ago I got my dr. to switch me from glucovance (500 mg
metformin & 5 mg glyburide 2x daily) to metformin and glipizide. I
started taking the 500 mg metformin 3x daily, and 5 mg. glipizide,
instead of the 10 mg per day I was automatically getting with the

Result #1. I've been doing a sequence of 1 month, 3 month, and 6 month
follow-up visits to Bournemouth Hospital as I was 'transferred' there whilst
on my first 6 months on an insulin pump. Joan Everett (a 101% honey of a

TheraSense FreeStyle Tracker24 Oct 2003 19:35 GMT8
Does anyone have an opinion on the TheraSense FreeStyle Tracker?  I was
offered one today and I'm wondering if I should take it.  Right now I'm
using an UltraSmart and I was going to get another one of those.  One of my
concerns is that I was told that the Tracker takes 15 seconds ...
OT: Swen Virus24 Oct 2003 17:53 GMT7

There is a pattern appearing.  The most recent example is the thread
"Website for type 2 diet".  The first answer to it was mu/chung, and it
has continued to be the most frequent participant.  The topic of the
thread was a perfect setup to introduce the web site for which it is a ...

IRC24 Oct 2003 09:30 GMT5
Not a huge user of IRC anymore, so maybe this is old news. Was told
there has been another security flaw in mIRC, and if you are not using
v 612, you are vulnerable.

OT: Humour  - Yet another one!24 Oct 2003 05:17 GMT10
A woman walks into a Police Station and says that she has
been raped by two council workers.
"How do you know they were council workers"? The Cop asked.
"Because I had to do all the work!!!" she replied.
Getting better results...but still have work to do!24 Oct 2003 02:38 GMT8
Today is a better day for me! Of course my blood sugar when I woke up
was still a little high at 128 (as compared to 140 yesterday) but 2.5
hours after lunch I check my levels and it was 102...I was really
scared it would still be hovering around 170...
