Life Insurance09 Oct 2003 14:34 GMT7
I plan to take Term life insurance, should I tell them I have diabetes?

the price almost goes three times!  Thanks, Nick
AV Fistula09 Oct 2003 13:58 GMT12
They did the AV Fistula a couple of weeks ago.  Mom will be on dialysis

done, all the fear, anxiety, anger , guilt and at least a dozen ...

Anyone else a Fresca freak?09 Oct 2003 05:38 GMT67
My wife and I subsist on Fresca.  Other than an occasional light beer or
bottled water, Fresca is my drink of choice.  Albertson's (supermarket
nearby) runs sales on a 12 pack for $3, so it's not only tasty; it's
pretty cheap.

I'm at the grocery store (Target) doing my personal DM shopping. I can't
explain every little thing I want and why to my MIL (who lives with us in a
very nice suite of rooms). She does the bulk of the grocery shopping.
Everything I want to get has to be examined and commented upon. ...
Test strips for accu-check advantge09 Oct 2003 02:32 GMT5
I've got some, free to good home.
Unopened box of 100, plus a mostly-full vial of 50 with the appropriate
code key stuck in it (I traded the meter in).
If you can't get these through insurance and could use them, make the
Delurking with some bad news09 Oct 2003 01:52 GMT34
The eggers among you will already know this, but Sid has been found at
home having apparently suffered a hypo. This time, he did not recover.
Diagnosed at age 17, type 1, waiting for transplant after kidney failure
earlier this year, he lived in South Africa.

Can a low carb diet cause gestational diabetes?08 Oct 2003 23:40 GMT28
Greetings everybody!
I just had my first test for gestational diabetes. My numbers were in
the 160s, so I guess I am a candidate. The ironic thing however: I am
on a no sugar diet. Mostly I eat low carb, and when I eat carbs, they

Does anyone have BG levels higher in the mornings than in than afternoons?
And what causes this?
Also, does anyone have any suggestions on breakfast foods that would be easy
