I have been on my back virtually for the last 5 weeks with a back
complaint and have been unable to do any exercise at all , whereas I
normally try to walk at least 1-2 miles per day. I have found myself
using 2-3 units more of Novorapid ( 13, 11 and 11) to cover the 3 main

ok started the needles a couple of weeks ago and thinking im doing something
wrong,
when i inject (in my tummy) it either hurts when the needle goes in (not

I was diagnosed 18 months ago with type 2 diabetes and up until a few
months ago have kept it under control with diet and exercise. I looked
after my adoptive mom for most of her life, she had type 1 from age 17
and daily injections of insulin so i know a bit about type 1 diabetes

I'm back again.  I'm having a really really bad time.  I'm down and so very very depressed.
It's hurting me, my hubby and my mum but I can't see any way out of it.  I just want to die to
let all the pain go away.  Why does it seem that no-one can help me or hear my cries of pain.  ...

So testing and experimenting is the order of the day.When my doctor gave
me my test meter(BD ADVANTAGE)I tested before and after meals until I
ran out of test strips,went to buy more test strips and found out that
those little buggers are quite expensive!!

I recently was told by my doctor that my blood sugar was slightly elevated
(118 fasting).  He has given me three months to lose wight and change diet.
My wife was diagnosed with type II last year, so we have the testing
equipment at home.  My blood levels can get real low, around 60 ...

Lantis at night, Humalog at meals and I am on Metformin.
I started dieting as my new years resolution (2003) by making myself

This afternoon a bought a new hoe.  I have a red metal and lime
driveway and off road car park.  The surface has the appearance of
sand on an island beach.  Its texture is hard and yet porous allowing
