I was diagnosed 18 months ago with type 2 diabetes and up until a few months ago have kept it under control with diet and exercise. I looked after my adoptive mom for most of her life, she had type 1 from age 17 and daily injections of insulin so i know a bit about type 1 diabetes

So testing and experimenting is the order of the day.When my doctor gave me my test meter(BD ADVANTAGE)I tested before and after meals until I ran out of test strips,went to buy more test strips and found out that those little buggers are quite expensive!!
