Talking of "knobroscopy's"17 Oct 2003 23:17 GMT9
Well I went for one and because I didn't know how long I'd be kept hanging

BG wasn't a particularly good idea, so I didn't.
I had a digestive biccie before I set off and of course, when I got here,

Di,
I sent you e-mail the other day, was curious if you got it since you usually
answer quickly.  Let me know if you didn't so I can check out what happened!
Hope you are well.
Alternative Remedies17 Oct 2003 19:12 GMT3
I was half listening to a Radio programme the other evening and there  was a
Herbalist  listing some remedies that help counteract some of the
complications associated with diabetes. These obviously weren't to take
place of the existing meds but were to compliment them.

Metformin17 Oct 2003 16:02 GMT4
How soon can I expect to see some effect from Metformin (500mg 2x/day)?  My
AM BG runs from 135~170, and 2 hours after a meal my BG is pretty much back
where it started.
Thanks

Starbucks?17 Oct 2003 06:39 GMT27
My wife's boss gave me a "get well" card with a gift certificate to

type II - don't blame the poor guy, he had no idea that's what the diagnosis
was).

My friend is Type I and has been fortunate to have obtained a MiniMed
