actually,this in reference to any Sodas,whether for diabetics or non-diabetics. i was told that the carbonation in sodas is REALLY bad for the kidneys. i drink Diet soda ALOT. i try to drink water daily,but soda gets my vote most of the time.

I was diagnosed Diabetes 2 last year while I was living in the States. My mother (aged 73) had an leg wound that was not responding to treatment. I suggested that she got her GP to test her for Diabetes (initially he told her that this was not necessary)

Has anyone experienced a radical surge of BG after a strenuous one hour morning exercise (treadmill at a pace of 9.5) ? In my case my BG goes up constantly at least 3.0 mmol (54) from what I would have at the same time in the morning without exercise.
