I bought some brownies from the low carb section at the local health foods store. On the front label it says "2 impact carbs" and "0 sugar carbs" but on the nutritional information it reads 26 grams of carbs.

I gave up drinking alcohol six months ago because my wife is pregnant - I thought it only fair. My GP tested my blood 3 weeks ago and said I was diabetic. I've since had a GTT that confirmed this and have booked in to see a endocrinologist to be thoroughly checked out.

Um...hello folks...I've been lurking here for a couple of months but am being prodded by Sid's youngest brother Chas, to introduce myself. I've been a bit poorly for a few months during which time the doctor has done various blood tests including three Blood Glucose tests.
