Since so many diabetes are claiming they have Insulin Resistance per their Doc (including me). Please share with me what definitive test is being done to confirm this diagnosis? Isn't it quite possible to be a T2 diabetic and not have Insulin Resistance? I am starting to think that ...

| Do time activity profiles of insulin vary by individual? | 23 Oct 2003 03:39 GMT | 14 |
I'm still trying to make a decision on whether to upgrade my MiniMed Paradigm 511 to the 512. One of the main features that the 512 has that the 511 doesn't is the Bolus Wizard feature. Part of the functionality of this feature depends on MiniMed's interpretation of the time ...

| Paradigm 511/512 Battery Life | 22 Oct 2003 14:49 GMT | 3 |
I heard from a MiniMed 512 user that the battery life they get is 2 or 3 days to 1 week. My average with the 511 has been 1 month per battery, and I am running pretty high basals, using the backlight often, and using the vibrate feature, which should all take more battery life. I ...

I thought some people here might get a kick out of this. If you're are familiar with Visual Basic, you'll get it. If not you won't. It's funny to me. But then, the Simpson's are funny to me and my wife hates that show.
