I had my left rearmost upper molar extracted yesterday. The dentist was forced to use sutures, which shocked me. He said they were dissolving stitches. How long will it take before these stitches dissolve?

Had a large filling replaced on an upper molar last year and now it is hurting like the dickens. Nothing shows up on the x-ray and no obvious infection. Is there any way to tell if a tooth is cracked without doing root canal? Or

Periodontal disease is really a disease of aging. Children don't get periodontal disease. Young animals don't get periodontal disease. The progression of periodontal disease in animals is determined by their life expectancy.

Clenching is not the same as grinding. Group function and balancing side function can cause grinding, but I have no answers for preventing clenching.
