Periodontal work in Costa Rica08 Aug 2008 13:08 GMT6
My Periodontist has told me that my disease has progressed to where I
need to have pocket reductions (flap procedure) enhanced with bone
material to help anchor my teeth.  He says I need to have it done in my
entire mouth if I want to avoid future tooth loss.  I will also need to
The Philips Sonicare Brush is Helping my Receeding Gums08 Aug 2008 01:33 GMT2
I've tried using a mouth-guard at night, but it didn't seem
to be helping much.  And i've also been using a soft-bristle
brush, and taking care not to brush too hard for the past
couple of years, and that didn't seem to make things better.
Wasabi versus canker sores in mouth?07 Aug 2008 22:46 GMT1
This is of some interest.  I found a 2006 article online at
   http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-152936882.html
which gave support to a much earlier report in a science journal
stating that dental scientists, exploring reasons for low measures of
Anniversary of the rest of my life07 Aug 2008 20:27 GMT17
Hmmm.  I didn't realize today's date until just now.  This is the 25th

If anyone wants to wish me a Happy Anniversary, it would be welcomed.  I

good with no large pockets.
My teeth are usually a bit sensitive afterwards but around tooth 26
Dental Emergencies At Night in NYC07 Aug 2008 12:22 GMT23
If anyone lives here, maybe you could help me with this. I called
around, looked at the web and phone book and it's a shame that in a city
like NY, if you have a toothache at night after 8 or 9, all you can get
is a prescription but no actual treatment.
mucous retention cyst?07 Aug 2008 01:21 GMT2
I was on this board a while ago.  I have a recurring blister on the
inside of my lower lip.  The blister seems to contain a clear fluid.
It forms and breaks all within 24 hours or less.  Then it seems to go
away completely.  A few weeks to a month later I get the same thing in
Horrid odor in mouth04 Aug 2008 00:18 GMT5
Hey everyone,
I am an endodontist in need of my peers' opinion.  Over the past 2
weeks, I have been noticing a foul, disgusting, abscess-like taste in my
mouth.  I at first noted it when I would eat (like a bad after taste);
