Cosmetic dentistry options31 Jul 2008 07:05 GMT14
My front teeth are a little asymmetrical and I think it's time
to fix them.
One of them is a little longer than the other, which I
understand is pretty easy to fix. But it also sticks out more
Same old question:  how to find a good dentist31 Jul 2008 06:37 GMT13
I haven't had one for maybe 10 years since Dr. Kochevar (also USC prof)
retired, but I've gone to three or four incompetents.  Last one did a
root canal and a couple of fillings in February 2007 and said I was in
fine shape.  His office fouled up the billing, told an outright lie ...
Newly Placed Porcelain-to-metal crown is too long29 Jul 2008 01:09 GMT7
I had a permanent porcelain-fused-to-gold crown placed Tuesday on a
front tooth, the one in front of the incisor, on my left side.  I have

olng, and descends about 1/8 inch below the two teeth on either

Expanding menu options for jaw-pain patients28 Jul 2008 06:02 GMT9
We've been exploring some of the issues behind jaw-pain associated with
eating as a hindrance to a person's nutritional well-being.  People who
find it painful to eat for whatever reasons, tend to avoid eating.  It's
crucial to navigate around what seems to potentiate the pain in ...

In the thread, "NTI continued", the discussion has taken its most recent
turn into the realm of dietary difficulties.
I'm going to be away from my "desk" for a week or so beginning tomorrow.
It is my suggestion that you all consider the value of a good, long

Things to do in the desert (ICR)24 Jul 2008 03:20 GMT3
Insurance Company Rules (ICR) so I *know* this is off topic!!  (Thanks

Anyway, if you don't know what a Desert Spoon is, this will likely not
mean much to you.  In my front yard, I have a mature Desert Spoon in

Can Abscess Cause Swelling On Lingual Side?23 Jul 2008 03:58 GMT2
Tooth 20 is crowned and not root canaled. Before when I was using the
water pik, it hurt a little when it hit the inside of the gum (the part
closer to the tongue). Then I felt the bone that goes around that part,
about a half inch below the tooth and it felt a little black and blue ...
Celebrity Teeth Whitener21 Jul 2008 05:48 GMT1
I tried it.  Applied exactly as directed.  After 30 days of use, it
did absolutely NOTHING.  No shade differences at all.  I took a
picture at the beginning and a picture at the end, no change at all.
Advise everyone to save their money.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction - Nerve Damage ?20 Jul 2008 21:25 GMT2
My usual dentist has recommended that I have a wisdom tooth (that has not
