tooth with fractures26 Jun 2008 01:55 GMT8
I had an exam recently, the dentist spotted a
tooth with a few "small" fractures, extending proximal
to distal.  He recommended a filling; that is, drill
out the damaged area, then fill it, like a cavity.
NTI failure continued26 Jun 2008 00:36 GMT270
I didn't read everything in detail, but if you never left the NTI
in for even one whole night, how could you deem it a failure?
Nobody said getting control of extreme clenching was a piece of cake.
Plus, just because a neurologist prescribed an NTI, all NTI's are
Lingering soreness following root canal?25 Jun 2008 19:20 GMT3
Had a root canal on a molar back in February, got crown put on in
March.  Since then, I have minor lingering soreness in that tooth -
mainly when I bite.  Its not that bothersome, but I am worried that it
is there since I believe following a root canal I really shouldn't be
Flying Mid Root canal21 Jun 2008 21:42 GMT2
I have had a root canal treatment started on my lower left molar.  I have a
temporary dressing in there at the moment.  Is it OK to fly, or will it
start to hurt as the cabin pressure decreases.
Thanks

some time ago.  They are metal lined crowns and have started showing

Several of these are on front teeth and she's concerned about the
MY FIXED BRODGE JUST FELL OUT.19 Jun 2008 14:15 GMT1
I have had it for a few years.  Since then I have changed dentists and am
wondering if I should go back to the one who installed the bridge or go to the
new one that I am now seeing.
Can they replace or do I need to go through all the hassle of getting a new one.

Do teeth expand and contract?17 Jun 2008 15:23 GMT3
Do teeth expand and contract on a daily basis? Just curious as to why I
would be able to get floss easily between two teeth one day, but not the
next, then again the following day, etc.

How do amalgam fillings work?15 Jun 2008 16:21 GMT31
Just out of curiousity, how do amalgam fillings work? Composite fillings
need some sort of adhesive. How do amalgams adhere to the teeth?
Oils and amalgam fillings14 Jun 2008 23:58 GMT33
I read of some new technique that some people are using of swishing their
teeth with some kind of vegetable oil every day for 15-20 minutes.  They say
it improves their gums.  Sounds harmless enough, even if not effective.
However, some also said that this technique can loosen ...
