question about CEREC and occlusion14 Jan 2008 19:29 GMT2
I've had two adjacent lower molars crowned using CEREC (the machine
was the 3D model, the latest model when I had the treatment done).
The first crown was of a molar that was complete, but in the second,
part of the tooth had broken off, so the dentist didn't bother taking

Tooth #20 (aka Socket #19) - continuation of story10 Jan 2008 21:29 GMT6
Nine weeks ago, I had tooth #20 extracted by an oral surgeon eight
months after well done RCT by an endodontist did not resolve the
pain.  There was never any sign of infection or swelling, just pain.
I was to see the oral surgeon again after 10 weeks to be evaluated for
Dental abcess questions09 Jan 2008 21:41 GMT10
Can you have an abcess with no pain, i.e., just a small bump low down in the
gum below the tooth, with some very minor sensitivity?
Does having an abcess mean a root canal is required?
Thanks!
Any Question Too Strange?09 Jan 2008 12:16 GMT20
In the newspaper or internet yesterday,  there was an article about a school
principal who died during a root canal procedure.   Aything is possible, I
would think, but what is the thinking of the dentists who would be more
knowledgeable.   My thinking is weird, While somthing in ...
Tooth Implants In Texas & Dental Insurance08 Jan 2008 20:22 GMT1
I live in Central Texas with my girlfriend and she has very, very weak
teeth.. She brushes and flosses more than i do but her teeth just
always seem to decay. She doesn't do drugs, she eats healthy and has
no major medical problems. Several of her back teeth have already been
Tooth pain in #19, but x-ray is negative07 Jan 2008 13:55 GMT3
Almost 9 months ago now, I had a filling replaced in #19. Since then,
it was sensitive to hot & cold, and would occasionally throb on its
own. However, I couldn't see my dentist until yesterday, as my
insurance had run out at that point. I've been grinning and bearing it
Is coffee worse than tea?07 Jan 2008 12:10 GMT1
I can see how coffee can color teeth.  But is tea just as bad as
coffee?  I mainly drink green tea, which is healthier than black
tea. It looks quite clean with hot water.  It can't be as bad as
coffee, right?
tooth sealants07 Jan 2008 06:57 GMT2
I'm looking for something that will seal a tooth - not only on the
surface, but as far down towards the root as possible - at least on the
sides. I see that sealants are usually used on the top surfaces. Are
they not suitable for the sides - or is there anything that could seal
hygiene in dental office06 Jan 2008 02:19 GMT1
My dental office seems to practice good hygiene, everyone uses gloves, masks,
etc. etc.  However when my dentist is working on my teeth his gloves get messy
and smelly.  I have never seen him rinse them off and they get pretty gross
before he is finished.  I have seen a website ...
