New partial Denture woes25 Jan 2008 13:24 GMT2
I just got my upper partial denture yesterday. It fills two teeth on the right & three on the left
side of my mouth. There are three stainless steel wire loops that wrap around the existing
anchor teeth. It appears to fit fairly well but a little uncomfortable especially with the ...

Horizontally Impacted Wisdom Tooth22 Jan 2008 02:42 GMT50
Eight years ago, I had a Panorex done. The dentist told me to see an
oral surgeon who said he saw what looked like a cyst on tooth #17. I
went for a second opinion to the oral surgeon I had used before and is
really well respected in my commnity. He said it doesn't look like a
Spur20 Jan 2008 03:44 GMT11
Hope I can explain this accurately. I can see and feel a sharp "root"
or bone or something protruding about 1/4" above the left upper canine
tooth. It's a small hard "bump" that feels like a bone spur, for lack
of a better word. I've felt all along the upper gum area, as in the
Noble Crown?20 Jan 2008 03:32 GMT7
What is a "porcelain noble crown" or "porcelain high noble crown" and how

Advice on RCT19 Jan 2008 15:55 GMT12
I would be grateful for some advice from the resident experts here about
a problem my daughter (in her late twenties) is having with one of her
teeth.
The tooth is an upper left molar (one in from the rear, the wisdom teeth
2nd CT Scan necessary?17 Jan 2008 06:50 GMT2

Now it is time (past time) to get the crowns on those upper implants

Dentist Scare The Hide Off Of You?16 Jan 2008 21:53 GMT1
If the thought of visiting your dentist scares you rigid then you
definitely must read on. You see if you think about it logically it is
in your dentists best interest to make your dental experience as easy
going and calming as possible. You see he knows only to well that if
Root canal criteria?16 Jan 2008 02:42 GMT10
I am scheduled for a root canal evaluation because of a nagging pain
I've had in my upper right quadrant - not sure exactly which molar is
affected, but suspecting one that has a crown.
I would like to know what the evaluation involves, and is there a
Sensitivity after dental restoration15 Jan 2008 19:12 GMT13
I had a good number of ancient fillings replaced a few months ago. I was
told that I should expect sensitivity for up to several weeks afterwards
(something about the caustic adhesives).  However, now it is about three
months later and they still flare up from time-to-time. A ...
really afraid of the needles15 Jan 2008 13:44 GMT2
I am not at all bothered by shots/needles anywhere on my body EXCEPT
in my mouth.  I am literally full of anxiety about needles in my
mouth.  They hurt terribly (it's been 15 years but I still vividly
remember how it felt.)  I am in need of some dental work which will

So I got four wisdom teeth taken out. Major pain. I flushed the first
script of oxycodone down the toilet because it had aspirin in them
and
I thought they would mess with my gastritis (I was still
