I don't mean will chewing the odd piece cause gum recession.  What I am
wondering is if 'excessive' chewing (say 4 hours a day or more) can be
thought of as a form of bruxism which through those mechanisms (teeth
flexing) will damage gums?  Or is this rather unlikely?  Thanks!
