extraction over root canal??20 Aug 2007 16:44 GMT19
I have another question. I was told that I definitely needed a root canal on
my very back molar on the top.  Would it be better just to have it extracted?
Of course I wouldn't choose to extract a front/visible tooth if given the
choice but I was wondering if that would just be ...

On a few of my molars and k9 teeth I have a line of decay, elongated
pit I guess where dentin is exposed.  Is this fixable? What are my

Thanks appreciated.
Braces for a second time...18 Aug 2007 02:34 GMT3
Approximately 3 years ago I had my braces removed. Now my overbite is
back and my teeth are continuing to shift (my bottom teeth nearly
touch the roof of my mouth - again!). My dentist thought I should get
a consultation and I was given the following options:
Exposure & Bracketing of an Impacted tooth17 Aug 2007 10:08 GMT1
Hello everybody.  I have an Impacted Canine that needs to be exposed
and bracketed.  My Orthodontist has already given me a referral to
have this performed by an Oral Surgeon.  However, she was unable to
provide me with any type of price estimate at all.  Also, I would need
apicoectomy17 Aug 2007 03:11 GMT7
Hi, I am getting an apicoectomy next week above tooth #10.
I was curious about the general healing time for these procedures.  Is it
days or weeks? I know it takes awhile for the bone to grow back (months), but
was wondering how long I should stick to soft foods.

Folks,
I use toothpaste with fluoride, rinse my mouth with Act twice a day, and I
drink fluoridated water from the tap.  I go to the dentist twice a year for
routine cleaning and check-up.  I have no special problems.  The dentist
Molar Problem - Bridge, Implant or Gap?15 Aug 2007 15:12 GMT4
I've been experiencing intermittent pain in a tooth on the lower right
side near the back for a few months & my dentist has recommended the
tooth be removed. He gave me antibiotics and said I'd be lucky to go 2
months before the pain came back and it seems he was right!
Getting a crown has caused bad breath15 Aug 2007 05:39 GMT4
My whole life (31 years) I have had good breath.  In fact, my wife and
I were always amazed, since we met, that we always thought each
other's breath was so sweet, even in the morning.  However, after
getting my first crown six months ago, my breath has gotten worse.
