Hi. About a month ago I had a large filling replaced on #19 with a
large amalgam. Since then it has been hyper sensitive to cold, with
lingering pain. It's also slightly sensitive to hot. Before this it

The wisdom teeth on the top of my mouth are killing me right now.
Both of them are completely decayed and are VERY sensitive to the
touch.  Also on my left side the tooth that is next to my wisdom has
broken off and this tooth is also very sensitive.

Is it nessasary to have a root canal done before a crown build up with pins?
I have had 3 other crowns and never had this many problems.  This 4th crown
is a bear and I have numbing from above the crowned tooth along my cheek bone
