A question on crowns and the gumline07 Mar 2007 16:44 GMT6

Hi, I had four wisdom teeth taken out 9 days ago.
I'll call my doc to ask this tomorrow, but figured I'd try to get an

Painful wisdom teeth extraction06 Mar 2007 16:11 GMT4
My 18-year old daughter had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted 4 days ago.
Since then, she has been in a lot of pain, not being able to sleep due
to intense pain, especially due to her left jaw pain. She is taking
advil (800 mg), but this is not making any difference: she is still in
My condition involving enamel and Tori06 Mar 2007 13:48 GMT2
In addition to my enamel issue, which was treated using bonding materials10
years ago with reasonable success, I also have some tori which makes it
appear like some of my gums are swollen.  I can live with this if it doesn't
worsen.  Some tori on my upper right gums are ...
Could L-Ornithine powder have damaged my tooth enamel?06 Mar 2007 13:43 GMT1
I'm wondering if the L-Ornithine powder I took briefly (for a few weeks to

powder did burn the insides of my mouth but my ...
Sealant06 Mar 2007 11:59 GMT12
My dentist suggest me to have sealant on my child's back teeth. But I

chewing surface. Have anyone seen such bad outcomes?

Root Canal - is this reasonable?05 Mar 2007 22:52 GMT10
I posted a few prior times about a problem tooth (second bicuspid)
that was sensitive and painful on and off over the past 60 days.  It
was filled once 17 years ago, then refilled 6 weeks ago to see if that
would solve the problem.  It didn't.  So, I went to an endodontist
Vertical lines/grooves05 Mar 2007 21:05 GMT2
One more question for the knowledgeable people at smd:
my wife's maxillary incisors each have 4 or 5 lines running vertically
on the labial side. Her dentist only recently noticed this (there
should be an age limit associated with performing dentistry..but I
Discomfort/pain after replaced filling05 Mar 2007 17:13 GMT10
I was hoping that my weekly dental appointments would come to an end,
but no such luck. Here's what happened:
RCT on #19, dentist did a crown buildup, and while working in that
area recommended replacing a small amalgam filling in #20 (distal)
Cyanoacrylates05 Mar 2007 15:50 GMT15
I always found it fascinating how wars and conflicts have lead to
increadible advances in medicine.
Cyanoacrylates are very commonly used now in periodontal procedures.  Any
comments?  A little history from Wikipedia:

I'm 22, never drink tea or coffee, rarely coke, so my teeth are pretty

possible.
I've tried a mega pack of crest whitestrips, and got them as white as
