Inflammation after a root canal.20 Mar 2007 01:53 GMT9
Hi - I'm 50 years old. Last month one of my bottom canines suddenly
became both pressure & temperature sensitive. The temperature
sensitivity was the bigger problem.  That tooth had no prior history,
except for a small fililng in front for decay, about a year ago. The

Hello, I have a rotton back-lower tooth. Its a tooth I've had trouble
with for a few years now.
There is not much of it, and I am on my 3rd temporary filling.
Today was the 3rd time I've tried to have it taken out. Each time I've
Dentures 19 Mar 2007 19:21 GMT18
I am in the decision process of getting upper and lower dentures. My dentist
suggested doing a root canal in two of my lower teeth to put two posts that
will hold my lower dentures in place. I am curious about how this has worked
for anyone else that may have had this procedure. Has ...
gelfoam effect - - clot is shrinking - lower third molar , pending dry socket ?19 Mar 2007 17:45 GMT16
Post extraction had distinct clot for 35 hours, follwed all
instructions religiously. at 45 hours, despite careful avoidance of
disturbance, clot has lost 30% of  surface diameter, shrunk. At 55
hours, what remains of the clot is a tiny center in a white setting.
Ready for Dentures19 Mar 2007 14:28 GMT5
I have no dental insurance - being on Medicare - and my teeth are
rapidly deterioting... Just don't have the money to invest in fancy
new techniques, crowns, bridges, etc.  when I can't afford them and
don't know how much longer I will live anyway...
Question: Increasing pain after extraction19 Mar 2007 03:34 GMT1
My wife went in to have a wisdom tooth (bottom left) extracted on
March 8th.  It was a long process as the tooth was rotten and took a
good long time to remove.
Afterwards, the pain was minimal and able to be controlled with
Fribroma Removal19 Mar 2007 00:34 GMT2
My dentist has referred me to an oral surgeon for a fibroma removal.
I have scheduled the appointment but have questions prior to the
consulation.  Does this involve general anesthesia/conscious sedation,
or just local anesthetic?  Are there stitches?  How long does it take
