videos of sinus lift and implant surgery?23 Feb 2007 08:34 GMT4
Does anyone know of a site that shows what goes on in the mouth during
an implant and/or a crestal sinus lift with osteotomes? I'd like to
see... No, not an animated video that makes it look like magic, a real
medical procedure video!

I have an upper tooth which has broken in 3 stages . .  2 sections broke
off over the past couple of weeks and now the final section broke off
this morning. The problem is that this last broken section of the tooth
is hanging on to the gum somehow, I guess it has broken off below ...
White spot on the gums22 Feb 2007 17:45 GMT7
I have a white spot on my gums. I am not sure what it is. I first
noticed it one week ago when my tongue felt a slightly raised patch. I
am not sure how long it has been there, but I guess about a week if my
tongue is a good sensor for picking these sorts of things up. It does

It's been 1.5 years since I had my dental braces.  My ortho is trying

I have bummer (a type of rubber band) on the left and the right, and

Hi, I have had the root canal procedure twice on a tooth over the past
two years. I only had temporary filling both the times. The last time
I lost the temporary filling was about 18 months ago and the tooth has
been open ever since. Now I am having pain and not sure whether it is

braces wire popped out22 Feb 2007 03:50 GMT4
My lower wire popped out of my braces.  Does anyone have advice on how
I can put it back in?  I am willing to try to use tweezers but my mom
thinks that they might scratch my tooth.  It is the furthest back (no
wisdom teeth).  I have tried to find something on the web that says
NTI Again22 Feb 2007 00:29 GMT2
I have an appointment now with a DMD who makes the NTI devices.  He
will look at my situation and determine what will work for me.  I hope
he can do something.  I will go for an initial examination, and they
quoted me $378 for the NTI device itself.  Sounds steep to me, but
Sonicare toothbrush causing excess saliva?21 Feb 2007 19:29 GMT2
I got a Sonicare Elite 9500 for Christmas and since I started using it I've
notice a lot more saliva in my mouth during the day. I looked around and I
read that the Sonicare stimulates saliva production which helps people with
dry mouth. I don't have dry mouth and don't take any ...

I have an abscessed tooth and my dentist prescribed clindamycin 150 mg. twice
daily. He originally wrote the prescription for 150 mg. four times daily but
while I was at the pharmacy, one of the dental employees came up to me and said
the prescription needed to be changed so I went ...
NTI Use21 Feb 2007 15:01 GMT15
Sometimes I get the feeling that the NTI just hasn't
been given the credit that it deserves and I am
amazed that more people haven't heard of the device.
After answering the last 'TMJ' question, I checked the
A cheap treatment for bruxism?21 Feb 2007 14:59 GMT13
I grind my teeth severely and have been recommended to get a night
guard by my dentist. The price is about  €400 or $520 and as I am a
student, that’s pretty bad! I used to do martial arts and used a
mouthpiece back then. My question is now: Are there any reason why a
