Post wisdom tooth pain29 Dec 2006 03:54 GMT2
Is it possible for the removal of a wisdom tooth to cause damage to the
adjacent tooth?  Both right were removed a little over a week ago and I
have been having pain in my 2nd UR molar ever since.  At first I
attributed it to the fact that I had just had surgery (logical), then I
Lone standing tooth pain28 Dec 2006 15:04 GMT1
i have been having trouble with a tooth (i think) for 3 months.

strongest/most effective L.A. for wisdom extraction?28 Dec 2006 14:13 GMT21
I'm scheduled for extraction of my fractured lower right wisdom tooth
tomorrow (#17 I believe).  He hasn't seen it yet so I'm going early for
x-rays etc. and I really hope it's not too infected or anything that
would prevent extraction tomorrow (pain is killing me).
Keeping 5mm pocket clean-Question for Docs27 Dec 2006 22:02 GMT4
A few years ago, I had pocket surgery on the buccal side of #15.  It's
located  right in the middle of the tooth, not between the teeth.  The
pocket was 9mm and after the surgery, it was reduced to 5mm, which is
what it is currently.

Over Cautious Dentist?24 Dec 2006 03:44 GMT2
My new dentist takes 18 x-rays every 5 years, then 7 x-rays annually.
I'm a 40 year old male and I've seen this dentist for two years now.
Since utilizing his services, I've had to get 6 fillings, some so minor
the drilling lasted 30 seconds or less without any anesthesia at all.
Prevident 500024 Dec 2006 03:41 GMT9
When I went to the dentist and the hygienist did an exam, she gave me a
bottle of Colgate Prevident 5000.  This is a prescription toothpaste.  Why
would a person need a prescription for toothpaste anyway?  It's very
expensive.  Anybody have opinions on how effective this stuff ...
Orthodontics alignment question23 Dec 2006 21:58 GMT5
I probably should have not gone to an orthodontist, but a few of my
teeth were misaligned and I wanted it fixed.  Nearly 2 years layer,
after plenty of horrors with invisalign and braces, they're in line
