Polident - how long does one tablet last?30 Nov 2006 19:52 GMT2
Will one tablet dropped into water last more than overnight? I can't
find any references to how long that solution will last and remain
effective. Polident just say use it daily, no mention of using a new
tablet daily.

I'm going to have my wisdom teeth removed(only have 3) soon, and I know
I read somewhere that upper wisdom teeth are easier to remove than the
bottom I know it depends on the tooth etc but in general is that right

Teeth 18 and 19 both had root canals and crowns about 10 years ago.
Last year, 19 cracked below the gum line and had to be extracted (that
was fun).  Last month, 18 abcessed (even more fun) and was pulled as
well.  What to do now?

I had root canal treatment around 5 years ago following the death of an
upper right 1st Bicuspid.  I never received a satisfactory explanation
for the tooth 'dying'  despite good hygiene.  I had a crown fitted on
the remains of the tooth.

Yesterday I noticed the the gum behind a molar was pulling away from
the tooth.  It doesn't hurt, but the part that has essentially 'pealed
back' is now flopping around loose in my mouth.  Obviously the

I recently had crowns placed on my front teeth. My hygienist advised me
to brush very softly so that my gums do not recede.  I normally use a
sonicare toothbrush.  Do you think that it is safe to continue to use
the sonicare, or could it damage my gums?
