About 4 months ago I began the root canal process.  I was put on an

Was the work Really Necessary/Was it Done?30 Sep 2006 04:35 GMT17
How does one know if the treatment recommended by their dentist is really

really done?
Question about not drinking anything 8 hrs prior to oral surgery29 Sep 2006 23:00 GMT1
In the near future I will be having oral surgery, and I'm trying to get
some advance information on the proceedure for general anesthetic.  I
am still waiting for the initial appointment with the doctor, but I'm
searching the internet in the meanwhile.  I'm curious to know all about
Maxillary Sinus29 Sep 2006 18:51 GMT7
From a cursory observation of the anatomy of the maxillary region, it
would appear that the maxillary sinus is directly above the upper rear
molars. The maxilla (jaw bone) is there too but the maxillary sinus is
larger than the maxilla, so there is a way for infection in the root

Brushing frustration29 Sep 2006 14:39 GMT15
Hi all, I am 22 and have Cerebral Palsy. I notice when I brush my teeth,
my arms shake uncontrollably and it takes me about an hour to do a good
job brushing my teeth. I am in school and quite frankly don't have time
to spend this long brushing. If I am in a hurry, I have a ...

Broken crown28 Sep 2006 21:12 GMT1
I have a crown (porcelain over metal) on a back molar on the top.  It
was put on four years ago, while I was pregnant.  Recently, the back
part of it broke off.  I am not experiencing any pain or discomfort.
I'm wondering if it is common for crowns to break so soon.  Do I have
Gum health question27 Sep 2006 20:57 GMT2
Will using a rinse than contains peroxide 2 or 3 times a day as well as
brushing keep my gums healthy? Is a peroxide based product better than
Listerine for preventative use? Thank you.

decided to do a local anesthetic only.
Two reasons, one, I just didn't want to go under, and two, I had heard
"Dr. Dean Edel" quote a medical journal as saying people who did so,
