Old Dental stuff in Ritzville, Washington Museum27 Aug 2006 18:40 GMT4
If you go to my profile and click on my web-page address in my bog, I
have a bunch of pics I took today in Ritzville, Wahington of really old
dental chairs, cabinets, and instruments. I rode my motorcycle out to
these "wheat-field towns" in eastern Washington state, from Hayden,
Are there options for kids who play an instrument?27 Aug 2006 17:01 GMT7
My son's dentist suggested my son get braces, and I am willing to provide for
him in that area, but the only hesitation I have is the thought of how
painful it is when they get tightened, and he plays the trombone.  In order
to play well, he must push the mouthpiece against his ...
Is a sinus lift (maxillary) reversible?27 Aug 2006 16:55 GMT12
OK I have searched everywhere and can't find an answer to this.
Is a sinus lift with bone graft, done to support on implant on a back
molar, reversible in any way?
If it 'failed' would the sinus membrane drop back down on its own?
How often should you get checkups at the dentist27 Aug 2006 15:16 GMT4
I was wondering how often you should get checkups at the dentist. I
would like to be as frugal as possible while making sure that I don't
have to pay large dental bills in the future.
Thanks!
Should I get a sinus lift or not?27 Aug 2006 00:09 GMT8
Hi, as you may recall I recently had 4 implants (#'s 18, 19, 20 and
29) on the bottom.
Now the plan is to get #'s 2 and 4 (possibly #3 as well, or just a
bridged crown there).
What physical forces causes a tooth to erupt?26 Aug 2006 14:31 GMT2
I had a bottom tooth (#18) removed and was told that there is a chance
of the upper neighboring tooth erupting.
Isn't the upper tooth held firmly in place by its roots? How can it
erupt when there are no physical forces
Further post extraction problems.26 Aug 2006 00:33 GMT12
Like Shawn in the earlier thread, I too had a tooth - a long tooth, I
think it's called a canine - extracted five days ago, and I am having
quite a bit of trouble. The gum around the extraction site is very
swollen and sensitive, and it also feels as if there is still part of
Distal cusp broke on back molar25 Aug 2006 14:51 GMT9
Short version of my question:  When repairing a backmost molar,
is it REALLY essential to restore a broken distal cusp?  If so,
why?

Instead of tooth PASTE what abt tooth POWDER?25 Aug 2006 02:55 GMT13
Are tooth powders just as good for brushing as pastes?
Full Mouth Debridement -- do not  fear.25 Aug 2006 02:28 GMT2
I'm 36 hours out from an FMD, and not at all upset about the procedure.  My
brand new -to me-RDH was  fantastic and  I am totally amazed at how well it
went and how little I stressed.   I have GAD, so  I can go 'over the edge"
very easily.
Milling Machines for Dental CAD25 Aug 2006 00:15 GMT2
What milling machines are you aware of that are in use in Dental Labs?
In particular machines that are independent of an integrated Dental CAD
offering are important to me.
The integrated companies include: 3M Lava, Cerasystems, Cynovad, Nobel
Only four top teeth left. What to do?25 Aug 2006 00:10 GMT18
I am 52, wear a partial upper and have only the four incisors left in
my upper jaw after just having a cracked canine tooth removed. (My
lower teeth have quite old bridgework, but are OK.) Several dentists
had told me that if the canine comes out, I will have to have the
Implants25 Aug 2006 00:10 GMT2
I need a tooth (molar with 2 roots) extracted by an oral surgeon.  I am
69 years old and I don't want to make repeated trips to the dentist.  I
was told that a dental implant cannot be inserted during the same
office visit after the bad tooth is removed.  Please explain why this
root canal treatment25 Aug 2006 00:08 GMT3
I did my root canal treatment today but anytime I bite on something it
hurts. I was not even scared when the densit used that syringe to numb
the area.
