Wisdom extracted, help also chronic headaches11 Jul 2006 03:25 GMT1
I am new here.
I am a female 26yo, not smoked for 16 months, off the pill for 2.5
weeks before extraction (heard this plays a role, estrogen levels?).  I
am from Sydney Australia.  Never had a filling or extraction before,

Its a herbal cream from a company called Hamdard, very popular in Asian
countries. Its cheap and affordable, and I guess its worth trying
Partial root canal with crown?11 Jul 2006 03:13 GMT1
My lower molar (tooth 19) had a large amalgam filling for 18 years. The
filling fell out a month ago. I never had any pain or problems with the
tooth prior to the filling falling out. Dentist says tooth needs a root
canal followed by post and crown.
Post implant surgery questions09 Jul 2006 23:21 GMT1
I had 4 implants today. They were going to do 3 with 2 of them
bridging one in the middle, but they decided they needed 4 instead, so
they did the 4th. These were #18, 19, 20 and 29. In 2 weeks I get #2
and #4 bridging one in between.
Is Dentist Obligated to Give Me Film X-rays?09 Jul 2006 07:09 GMT14
I recently went to a dentist and had full-mouth x-rays which were saved
onto a laptop computer. I asked for copies and was told they couldn't
give me graphic files on a disk; I could only get a printout. I'm
concerned that the printout will be of low quality and not readable by
Staminal and pulpless tooth09 Jul 2006 02:31 GMT3
I know that some research is concerning the study of staminal cells to
create new teeth and use them instead of artificial prosthesis in
implantology.
Is it possibile that even a devitalised tooth could be replaced by a new
Have you heard about this one?09 Jul 2006 01:16 GMT2
Searching this newsgroup for some info on the cost of getting crowns, I
stumbled on one of my old inquiries here. I submitted the following
topic (first post below) to this news group about six years ago.  Some
of you may recall it (Dr. Joel?).  If you search in this newgroup, the
Upper denture question08 Jul 2006 23:57 GMT6
I just found that my upper denture, behind the front teeth, has holes coming
through.  Right now they are small.  Does this mean I need to replace the
denture or would a new inside, I forget the term sorry, be appropriate?  I
am going to make an appt hopefully next week to have ...
Mystery?08 Jul 2006 22:58 GMT2
The following is an edited version of my 70-something year old mother's
email to me describing her problem. Her dentist cannot seem to help
her. Any ideas?
Following several root-canals, five extractions, and two implants (one
Why they become Dentists06 Jul 2006 23:50 GMT57
The story of Clara Harris, DDS is unrelated, but I've sourced it to
illustrate my point about why dentists charge so much.
You'll recall, Harris was the whacko lady dentist who killed her
husband dentist for cheating. She caught in in Hotel parking lot with
Min. residual tooth for Cerec?06 Jul 2006 14:31 GMT3
My mother-in-law broke off the outer cusps of the large upper molar,
which had a filling.  It probably had one or two vertical cracks and was
just waiting to "give".
I suggested she ask her dentist about getting a Cerec restoration, and

teeth removal leading to complications05 Jul 2006 12:47 GMT3
Hi,   due to gum infection my dentist removed a lower jaw back tooth next to
the wisdom, tooth a couple of years ago.
The wisdom tooth itself had been removed many years before that.
Now since the last removal, the opposing upper teeth seem to have grown
post implant pain - 3 weeks05 Jul 2006 07:06 GMT1
I had an implant done on my lower left jaw 19 days ago.  The dentist
stated that everything went very smoothly and I felt fine.  The
following morning I got up and exercised vigorously.  Little did I know
what a mistake this was.  The area around the implant swelled quite a

You do it too, dont lie.
Your Mercedes payment is overdue, somebody walks in off the street for
three crowns and pays $300 cash. You put it in the book as two crowns
then send a thousand bucks to the dealership.
