Opalescence PF at home treatment - not helping31 Jul 2006 00:46 GMT7
I've been using Opalescence PF 15% in a custom tray for 7 days @ 3
hours per day, and the color of my teeth has barely budged - they are
still a dull yellow, though the sides and bottoms (away from gum) are
starting to look a little lighter.

Small ball in root canal30 Jul 2006 21:09 GMT4
Does anyone know what this is called?
A while back I had an abscess in a tooth & when the dentist came to
drill the root canals to drain the abscess, my body had created a small
ball (calcium?) in the canals to prevent the infection from spreading.

Overbite30 Jul 2006 21:09 GMT2
I'm 22 and I have a slight overbite. I'll probably be having orthodontics
treatment soon to line up my teeth.
I have a question though. The tops of two of my teeth at the front at the
top (on each side) appear to contribute significantly to the overbite. So
Problem with invisalign? Lower front tooth will not stabilize30 Jul 2006 21:09 GMT1

I had a back molar removed two days ago and now I am going to need an
implant. I have no coverage. Is there any plan that covers implants..or is
that considered a cosmetic surgical procedure. Also, is it too late to join
a plan (if there is any plan that covers implants?) I need ...
Surgery Alternative for Class III Underbite30 Jul 2006 07:42 GMT5
Our 13 yr old daughter has a Class III underbite with an open bite, the
molars touch and the front teeth touch, but the cannines and bicuspids
do not. She has no problems chewing eating, or speaking. Frankly, she
doesn't look bad to me, but her lower teeth are pretty crooked.
Are my crowns and metal posts inside my teeth causing my swollen lymph gland?30 Jul 2006 06:43 GMT2
First, How can I check to see if my crowns have any harmful metals in
them? The Lab my dentist used to make my front crowns claims to use
only hi-noble metals. How can I be sure of this? What if I'm being lied
to? For over a year, my left lymph gland has been swollen. I thought it
How hygienist license related to the type of cleaning?28 Jul 2006 22:12 GMT7
I wanted to do a basic cleaning and went to see a hygienist.
Honestly, my gum isn't a problem at all.  So I don't want antibiotics.
But the hygienist spoke to me with a whole faceful of honesty and
pushed me for antibiotics, which will cost me a lot out of my own

metal line across top surface of crown??27 Jul 2006 21:52 GMT7
Is this normal or did part of the crown crack or fall off?  What I mean
by top surface (of this upper rear molar) is the biting surface of the
tooth--the "main" surface, which I suppose is the top of the tooth (or
maybe it's "bottom surface" because it's an UPPER molar).
