| Cavity cleaned before filled? | 18 Jun 2006 18:53 GMT | 5 |
Are cavities recommended to be cleaned thoroughly before they are filled? Or does the cavity just get filled in immediately? By cleaning the cavity, I mean should the dentist actually go in the cavity and gently clean it out specifically - not just a regular tooth polish/cleaning.

I'm ready to raise some hell with my local dental school because they don't post their rates. In fact, the don't even tell you what they are when you call up, telling you instead, "Our rates are 30% to 50% less than the market rate."
