I do not smoke any more and would like to know if the bleach
treatments can permanently remove the stains. I am caucasion and my
teeth are very porous. I have had my teeth clean and they look ok
except the smoke stain seems to be below the surface. Would the laser
Film on teeth after oral surgery24 May 2006 15:25 GMT1
I am looking for advice, I called my oral surgeons office with
questions, but they seemed to blow me off and not offer any
information. I had my bottom wisdom teeth and one tooth next to a
wisdom tooth removed last friday. For all intents and purposes I think

The Tooth Truth
'Dentaly' Dazed and Confused24 May 2006 02:53 GMT1
I'm the kind of person that when a problem comes up in life, I really
try to learn about it and understand what's going on. I get frustrated
when things become 'gray' and don't really seem to make sense.
I have 5 teeth that have been filled in my life, three of which were in

Rotadent versus Water Pic23 May 2006 05:04 GMT2
My teeth, the ones left anyway, are in very good shape with the exception
of one upper wisdom tooth and the adjoining molar. They both have mild
periodontal disease. If memory serves the numbers mentioned were 3 to 5
mm. The hygienist said my plaque control above the gum line was ...
length of new front crowns22 May 2006 17:10 GMT4
In a couple of days I am due to have my four top front teeth prepared
for crowns. My dentist (in London) pointed out on my last visit that,
unusually, in my case the two teeth right at the front are the same
lenth as the other two at each side rather than, as is normal

Even though I wear this, my teeth still shifted somewhat (I feel "collision"
in my bite that was not present earlier)

I did see the message from April relating to a similar topic --- the
SNR was a little low, however! :)
I'm guessing if there was a s.m.d. faq, this would be in there.  I
didn't see one....
Numb Tongue21 May 2006 22:07 GMT1
I had a couple fillings about 3 - 4 months ago. The next day, my tongue
was still numb and everything tasted exceptionally salty. Now, tastes
seem to be fine -- that or I'm just used to the different taste. My
tongue still feels numb though. It's not completely numb to the point
