extraction risks08 Apr 2006 03:13 GMT5
Need to have my #9 extracted (then either bridge or implant).   Any
suggestions on doing it right?
Major hold up is a family member strongly urging to go through someone

About four months ago, it was necessary for me to have a bone graft in
my upper jaw to facilitate implants (due to an injury rather than
decay). Unfortunately, the existing gum had to be stretched a little
too much, and pulled back to expose the graft once the swelling
Cap/crown keeps cracking06 Apr 2006 21:15 GMT9
I cracked a front upper tooth several years ago. I cracked it while playing ball

In a dramatic break from its policy of protecting
pro-mercury dentistry, FDA has announced it will hold public hearings
about "potential mercury toxicity" from amalgam, especially its
amalgams?06 Apr 2006 12:22 GMT22
Could someone tell me the average Hg content in amalgams?  And at what
temp. does Hg go from a liquid to a gas? I'm getting all kinds of mixed
messages about this issue; however I believe it may just boil down to
the two facts above (and maybe the info. below.)

Metal Fused to Porcelain Molar Crowns05 Apr 2006 15:13 GMT4
Is it possible for such crowns to have the aesthetics of a full porcelain
crown?
I read about Captek crowns. Are these as good, aesthetics-wise, as say
In-Ceram Alumina or Cercon?
night gaurd05 Apr 2006 14:53 GMT3
some time ago I saw a thread on different kinds of night gaurds, some for
the back teeth, but one that was worn in the front that seemed to lesson the
clenching.  Anyone know of websites I can check out?
Cleaning invisalign braces.05 Apr 2006 14:18 GMT1
I recently started using invisalign braces. Going through the
invisalign instructions I noticed that they do not recommend using
normal denture cleaners for cleaning the invisalign braces. They
recommended invisalign cleaning solution.
