| decay under 1 wing of Maryland bridge | 04 Mar 2006 00:17 GMT | 4 |
I have decay under a wing of Maryland bridge that was done 7 years ago. My dentist recommended taking it out and replacing it with crown bridge. I am just wondering why can we just fill the decay and keep my bridge? I don't want a new bridge unless it is really neccessary.

| Question about decay | 03 Mar 2006 13:20 GMT | 3 |
If a tooth has decay and only needs a filling, if the tooth is always cleaned and flossed after every time the person eats, can the tooth heal itself in the sense that the decay will "disappear" and healthy enamel replaces the decayed enamel?
