Procedure for unclear problem/ Irrellevant  post18 Mar 2006 01:09 GMT1
While at the dentist yesterday, I think he got agitated, and suddenly said
"I can't believe my life" and I responded "I can't believe mine either"    I
thought I would have to leave without treatment.    Haven't dentists heard
everything and should be immune to  any alternate ...
Question about crown aesthetics17 Mar 2006 15:07 GMT1
Most dentists in Singapore seem to depend on an external lab to do their
crowns and so far from my experience, the colour-matching is at best
slightly off if not far worse.
What is the best way of ensuring a 100% colour match? Does getting a dentist
Root Canal and Crown17 Mar 2006 15:07 GMT4
How soon after a root canal should I get a crown done?
The dentist who is doing my rct says he wants to use composite to fill up
the hole first and then do a crown later.
What do you all think?

Teeth "not fitting"17 Mar 2006 01:07 GMT4
Two and half years ago, I had a silver inlay fall out of my lower right
next to all the way back molar and I was not able to retrieve what fell
out. I went to the dentist and asked for a crown (I have had good luck
with my crowns, they stay in!). But he did not want to grind away ...
On amalgam placements17 Mar 2006 01:07 GMT4
A patient has decay in tooth that means existing amalgam filling must be
removed.
Many dentists just drill it out thus aerosolizing toxicologically
massive amounts of mercury which the patient breathes into his lungs and

amalgam placements - don't do it.17 Mar 2006 00:09 GMT16
Better to have your tooth/teeth pulled than have amalgam placed in them.
Amalgam - mercury amalgam - is massively neurotoxic, it is responsible
for many thousands of cases of mental illness (mad hatter disease). It
will also damage just about any organ it comes into contact with.

Re: Differing dental opinions16 Mar 2006 23:37 GMT4
In Sept 05 I attended my current dentist to have root canal on one of my
teeth. He also put a crown on it after a subsequent visit. X-rays were
performed at the time. From this he identified 8 fillings that needed to be
looked at.
Loose crowns - super glue?16 Mar 2006 20:07 GMT12
No I'm not seriously thinking of ever using it, but considering how
many times my crowns have come loose and had to be recemented - just
wondering if plain old super glue would actually work pretty good.
Anybody ever hear of a dope who tried it?  thanks
All-ceramic crown for molar16 Mar 2006 20:07 GMT1
For an all-ceramic crown on a molar, which material is recommended?
Some materials I'm considering Empress 2 and Inceram.
