Geographic tongue relief08 Feb 2006 08:44 GMT3
I've had geographic tongue for several years, usually mild, sometimes
flaring more painfully.  I have no cure to offer, and nobody seems to
know the root cause.  But I have found a simple treatment that helps
provide relief from the symptoms and reduce the inflammation.
Questions about local anaesthetic and pain pills08 Feb 2006 08:23 GMT5
First of all, should one eat something before going to the dentist
where one will be getting a LOCAL anaesthetic?
My wife said she heard that one should eat first. I did not eat and I
wonder if that's why I had more pain that usual?

with a few dentists. I'm not trying to advertise to anyone this group,

I have been having pain through my upper jaw and sometimes in my lower

SoftDent and network upgrade04 Feb 2006 19:49 GMT1
I'm going to be upgrading a dentist's office from SoftDent 10 to the current
version (which I believe is 11). I've dealt with SoftDent before and I have
done other 10 to 11 upgrades, but for this network I'm going to have to
install a dedicated server and about 5 new workstations ...

Why does my crown hurt to tap it?03 Feb 2006 21:17 GMT18
I had a crown made, had it temporarily cemented, then had a root canal
on that tooth (#30).
Over a month since the root canal (done by an endodontist), and while
I would not say it "hurts" per se, I will say that it is sensitive to
HG toxicity from amalgam proven02 Feb 2006 23:53 GMT4
It was proven in the 1980's.
Some UK television documentaries had amalgams placed in sheep
and Hg vapour pressures measured. They proved to be worryingly
high. It's a no brainer really.
