I just got a new dental plan that only pays $20 to extract a tooth.  Am I
correct in my opinion that that is just a token payment, and that the cost
of an extraction will be in the $100 to $250 range?  TIA.

I had one done a year ago and it seems the dentist was supposed to put
a crown on the tooth after but never did.  Now it s falling apart.  Is
he not supposed to put a crown on?

I need some suggestions from someone.
I am having tooth pain on the left side of my face. The back 2-3 teeth.
And the jaw (left side) is tender (as if I have swollen glands). I
don't have strep throat or ear infections. This tooth related pain is

My dentist just informed me that I have a deep pocket (7) above the #5
tooth (upper right) and wants me to see a periodontist.  I recall a
similar experience 8 years ago with other deep pockets, when I decided
to work harder at cleaning my teeth and improving my general health

My dentist wants to fill in some side wall deterioration

about joining the composite resin to the amalgam or butting it

amalgum because it is strong enough to provide long term support for the
